Rhythm & Hues Domestic Violence Awareness Event

Rhythm & Hues was created to support survivors, empower victims, and raise awareness about domestic violence. 

Every minute someone is abused by a person they love. Many of us know someone or have been in similar situations oursleves seeking help and refuge.

The proceeds from Rhythm & Hues tickets sales will go to the safe houses in Macon and Warner Robins to assist individuals attempting to survive. Kitchen items, household items, and toiletries will also be accepted on behalf of the safe house residents.

There will be a silent auction, light refreshments, live music, and more!

"Come paint with us at the Ampersand Guild! Artist Bobbi'lyn Stefon with Beautiful Simplicity will show you how to paint this path of Fall leaves on tall trees! Get ready to get your hands dirty with this one because we are going to be painting using natural sponges!

Macon Writers Group

The Macon Writers Group meets the last Saturday of every month (except December) from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m..  Founded in January 2009, we have always had a diverse membership of writers of all genres and levels. From time to time, we invite successful authors to come give workshops. For the rest of the meetings, we workshop each other's writing. He'll discuss the ins and outs of the Business of Photography, The changing landscape of photography,  and have an open floor discussion about all things photography.
